It is a blessing having new beginnings. I find that I am very thankful for many things that I have--and the release from Satan's control in my life. I am thankful for true friends that love me, for being a part of the Praise Team at church, for being the Youth Director, and for love that has returned to family relationships with myself. I thank Him for the stability in home and career--for double portion blessings. and for silencing my enemies in His name. It is simply wonderful how God has changed my season and placed me under His Divine Favor to the point where, everywhere I go, His presence is with me, is felt by others that I come in contact with, and my blessings are overflowing in every area of my life.
Having God send to me my true love has been a dream come true! He is everything that God promised me and everything I wanted....and He wants to take care of me forever! God is awesome! Even money is no longer an issue. It feels WONDERFUL to have all of bills paid for and more than enough money to spare. Perhaps that is why all of the weight has been falling off. It feels wonderful to be happy, feel happy, and know that I am redemeed by God.
Donnie McClurkin preached some years ago on TBN that we should pray for the Divine Favor of God, for it is more needful than anything we could ever pray for and can bring us all that we seek Him for. I could not agree more. My addtional prayer is to always seek this relationship with Christ and develop spiritually--to be a blessing to all I come in contact with. I pray that you will as well. :)

Eating Popcorn
Christians are often so caught up in pretenses that they forget what loving God really means in practice. I have been away from my church on and off for the past two months in Mississippi and I have to tell you that it has been what I have needed the most. Sometimes people do not appreciate you until you are gone...well accept for the children. God has truly blessed me with their love and acceptance.
I love my church, but have been disappointed by the way politics have taken over. Now, to be honest, I know that this is not just something that happens at my church but is rampant within the denomination and most other churches or non-denominations. It just creates an environment where I find myself not wanting to do anything else directly related within the church, but just sit back and "eat popcorn"! Not out of arrogance, but out of the Elijah on Mt. Carmel principle.
I serve within the the community and privately, but become turned off by the nepotism, favortism, and non-scrptural way we do things in the Name of Satan, rather than the Name of God.

My Purpose
Many of you have been waiting for me to begin my blog...but I had to wait for God to let me know that it was time; He also needed to clarify how I needed to speak the truth "from the pew"....
With that said, my purpose is to share my experiences...and those of some I know, have read about, or have been told of. I think Peter (I & 2 Peter)said it best when he said that true Christians suffer. The percecution is not always from the world either. It just does not have to be, nor should be.
Being a Christian IS drama that pays off in the end (both in this life and the life to come--Heaven). That means some of the stuff I am going to share will be more drama than the Young & The Restless....some things are going to call the carpet on what we have accepted within the Christian Church as "that's the way it is" with the spiritual challenge to make it all Jesus or leave....
Share yourself and feelings....knowing that I won't be offended (well, at least not for too long ) and let's pray for wisdom to to be "harmless as a dove but wise as serpents" (defanged of course). :)
